Today phone shutdown itself after I opened it and started webbrowser. I have to press power to get it back on. It has started resetting with red led flashing and resetting straight to ask security code and pin code.

Android apps crash.

Sometimes ambience picture vanished for seconds.

But battery life is expanded comparing to previous version! And swipe animation is very nice!

Edit (heubergen): Retag and new title. Edit (tanghus): Retag and new title.

Could be related to a full btrfs metadata space - did you already checked it with 'btrfs fi show' (as root)?! Edit: Like described here: https://together.jolla.com/question/30822/root-and-home-disks-full-and-causing-various-problems/

Edit (heubergen): Retag and new title.

Well, it's not a very saying title nor are the tags...

But I agree with @Alex that it could be btrfs problems.

I just saw that there are various problems and let the title in general.

@heubergen yeah, you're right in that, but it was bit bit too generic to be searchable ;)

@KulspetsP In general it's best to have separate questions per subject, but in this case they seem to be connected, and I think @Alex is right with his guess.

I'm sorry that I'm not so familiar to use all those tags etc. But I wanted to tell what kind of problems I have had.

Also I haven't use Linux before so that's why I did that kind of list.

It may connect to that BTRFS thing, but today it did it again. Battery was 60% left when I checked quick one thing from internet. Couple of minutes after, I cheked another thing and when browser started phone went dead. I push power on and it showed battery left 4%.

So could it be that there is some changes made with battery life, and now the percentage is shown too much? Or something?

Random battery drop could be explained by this https://together.jolla.com/question/7144/jolla-randomly-shuts-down/

But I would also higly recommend to check up on btrfs balancing as commented above.

Well if you are experiencing random battery power drops then I would rather think that this is Hardware releated (bad contact to the battery). I would suggest you to clean your Battery contacts with some cleaning alcohol like isopropanol - this is a quite known issue and cleaning the battery contacts fixed this issue for many Jolla user. :)

After those happenings I loaded battery full. Disconnected it from charger and looked some little things from internet. Battery was 88% left. I opened Android Facebook app and phone died. I pushed power on and it show 2% left. And it was about 30 minutes before disconnected from charger.

I charged battery over night and at the morning again it went dead when opened FB app. But after that battery was as it should be.

After that I checked that BTRFS FI SHOW and it show "devid 1 size 13.75GB used 7.5GB"

I tried to do that balancing and start from 5 and it didn't find anything before percentage was 55. From there to 85 there were 1 or 2 chuncks. Before that I delete some old pictures, downloaded documents etc.

After that BTRFS FI SHOW gave 6.3GB.

I opened Sailfish app and phone went dead. After that I removed battery for little time and put it back. And after that it has been on 1 d 12 h power on and everything is ok...

Please check out my comment above. :) I would suggest you to clean your battery contacts or even if this won't help put some paper between the battery and phone chassi like suggest in the link posted by @mholo65 because it seems that you are experiencing a bad contact to the battery. :)

Here is also an interesting answer from Jolla how to preserve a good contact between the battery and the inner mainboard/circuit: https://together.jolla.com/question/7144/jolla-randomly-shuts-down/?answer=92815#post-id-92815

Just a hunch - ssh into the phone and fire up the log viewer. Then do some intensive stuff (browse, watch videos, etc). I had a similar issue and it turned out to be a bad eMMC that only manifested when swap failed to be written.
