I couldn't find anniversary dates either.
naytsyrhc ( 2014-01-03 13:14:30 +0200 )editI agree, but that seems more like a feature request (adding a function), so I changed the title.
Nux ( 2014-01-03 13:26:40 +0200 )editYeah. It's a feature request if noone thought about it yet. Or a bug that they are not shown, if it was intended but doesn't work. As we don't know what Jolla intended and no anniversary dates were shown in N9s birthday calendar, I'd also say it's a feature request ;-)
naytsyrhc ( 2014-01-03 13:48:15 +0200 )editI agree that this is a request feature. However I find it is strange that Anniversary and Birthday don't have the same status.
Moreover, in French (my tongue), the birthday calendar is named "Anniversaires" and anniversary is translated into "Anniversaire", so it is not logical that "Date de naissance" (birthday) are in "Anniversaires" calendar, whereas "Anniversaire" is not.
Vivien ( 2014-01-03 14:41:07 +0200 )editWould it be difficult to mark a starting date for each anniversary or birthday? If I mark my child's day of birth the calendar could automatically calculate the number of years to celebrate.
A similar mechanism could handle events like quitting cigarettes...
