hi,

im sorry if this is a duplicate - since this question should have arised earlier - but i didnt find anything on tjc.

i have a 64gb sd card lying around and want to use it in my jolla. from what ive heard my options for the file system are ext4 and btrfs (id prefer to use btrfs but if somebody has a good reason not to use it my choice could change). i have no other computer to format the sd card with btrfs, so i want to do directly it with my jolla - but how?

note: im far from having linux experience, at best im at beginner level - but im willing to copy some lines into the terminal.

please help :)

Try this thread:

https://together.jolla.com/question/40802/how-to-format-your-usd-card-to-btrfs-and-share-space-with-android/

You can either go all the way or just try the part which instructs how to format.
