Undo for video seek

I like to watch talks during my commute. Since a lot of people without any luggage seem to have no second thoughts about sitting in the bicycle car of the train, I often have to switch seats or stand up holding my bike. When I hold my phone standing up I often have to place it in a pocket of the jacket quickly or move my hands away.
Often, this leads to seeking within the video file since I touch something on the screen. This really frustrates me since the talks are often an hour long and since there is no constant time code visible (which is probably good) I have no idea where in the talk I was. Then I have to seek through the video manually to find the approximate stop where I was before. By the time I have that, usually the next person bumps into me.
It would be really great, if one could lock the controls without interrupting video playback or even better have an undo button for seeking in the video. Just like a back button in a web browser.
