[app request] Multitrack Recording Software
As I'm using my iPad for mobile recording while abroad I would very welcome a recording app for the coming tablet - I'm using an interface from Apogee which fits to USB, Lightning and the old Apple multi connector - it works on my Mac on any PC and on the iPad ... I could ditch the iPad if I could do multitrack recording on the Jolla tablet - there are plenty solutions out for Linux already so someone with skills (Wich I lack) could compile an app for the Jolla - ardour could be possible or the very lightweight NON DAW link text -
Yes. That would be great. Maybe using the Recorder app as a starting point?

The UI would likely have to be redone into Qt, which is a rather large undertaking as it seems like a fairly non-trivial kind of app, or NTK would have to be ported which is also not a simple thing to do.

lispy ( 2015-06-28 23:31:09 +0200 )editMmh it seems that most DAW for Linunx is written in GTK or Java ... more noticeable: ocenaudio - qtractor - and muse the last ones both in qt - no infos about ocenaudio
@lispy: sorry never used it - using n-track on OS X and Linux and MultiTrack with Audiobus and JamUp on the IPad
