I've got an idea, would it be possible to have an app in witch you register some emergency phone numbers, and when they call you, even if the phone is in silent mode, the ringtone active itself and the speaker volume is increased up to 200%. It would even be a cool factory feature to have.

I think it should be easy to developp, the Phonehook app is able to block a list of phone number. The tricky part may be to desactivate the silent mode and reactivate it after the call or to bypass the silent mode to avoid desactivating it.
