Distinguish how screen was unlocked in SFOS 2.0

When unlocking SFOS 2.0 I have two possibilities: left edge swipe or right edge swipe. Why do both actions open the home screen? As I can enable left edge swipe to always open the events view I'd expect to get there directly on unlocking the phone by left edge swipe and going to home screen only with right edge swipe. I could even imagine a third swipe gesture to unlock the phone: bottom edge swipe. I'd expect to directly open the app drawer by this action. Is this possible?
