Locking the phone with one swipe was very good in pre 2.0 UI. To keep this the ambience switcher could be accessed by a swipe from bottom to top like the notification view in pre 2.0 UI.

Edit: At least it should lock the device immediately if there is no ambience marked as favorite and not just show the lock button.
