To start with this is not reproducible.
This evening I wanted to check if it had been made possible to set the "Remote connection" AKA enable ssh as a toggle in settings shortcuts - it hasn't. But when I tapped "Developer mode" I could see something was happening as there was a BusyIndicator. When the page had loaded the WLAN IP address had changed from 192.168.0.5 (afairc) to 192.168.1.5 and the password had been reset, without me doing anything.
It's the first time I've opened Developer mode for I don't know how many months. Is this expected behaviour? I don't recall seeing it in any release notes/change logs or any issues here.
