[ REQUEST: enhanced functionality ] Bring back & enhance the potential of cover-tile ctrls ....
I expected enhancements instead of a degeneration of the cover-tile-ctrls as they are distinctive for Sailfish ! Request to drop those newly introduced, ordinary “micro-buttons” ... Pulling fwd/bwd to move through through sessions, notes, playlists etc. is very elegant and straight forward ! You may enhance those cover-tile-ctrls by a tap-ctrl to trigger pause / resume / update / etc. .... if you want to open an app by tapping onto a cover-tile, you will tap & leave your finger until it opens up.
Even though I posted this a while ago within the jolla blog I'm doing it here again to make it votable for a hopefully improved SFOS 2 experience ...
