The complete Sailfish OS 2.0 is now here! Our previous release 1.1.9 introduced the reborn Sailfish OS user interface to you, and now we’re happy to announce the availability of the early access Sailfish OS 2.0.0 release (Saimaa). Thank you for providing feedback to us on the 1.1.9 release! This release brings a lot of improved features and fixes, and completes the transition to Sailfish OS 2.0. Our work is by no means done, and we’ll continue to provide regular updates from now on too.
Please note that before you can upgrade from 1.1.9 to 2.0.0, you will receive an update notification to install 1.1.9.30 as an intermediate step to improve reliability of the update process

This is the usual drill before attempting to upgrade your devices, - If you use Phonehook from OpenRepos, uninstall it before upgrading. - If you use Patchmanager, revert all applied patches before upgrading. - Take a backup of your data before attempting to upgrade your device. A successful backup operation is indicated by a green dot in the UI. - Do not reboot the device while the update is in progress. - The device screen may blank out during the update process, you may waken the display by a short press on the power key to monitor the progress. - Do keep the phone connected to a battery charger during the whole process.
