Update download interrupted; Now missing from System Settings

Sailfish OS (v1.1.9.30) notified me today that the 2.0.0.10 update was available, so I went through the backup process and started downloading. The WiFi unfortunately got disrupted, and because the download didn't appear to continue (lack of percentage indicator complicated that assessment!) I closed the Settings app & rebooted the phone.

Now, tapping on the update notification only yields a few seconds of System Settings preview with spinner, which closes. Tapping the notification again doesn't do anything, and there is no Update item in the Settings any more either.

Thanks for any hints what could be wrong here, and how it could be remedied.

PS: Some apparently correlated, but possible not causatively related observations:

System settings has a !!sync_and_backup" subheading with the Bluetooth sync entry
I uninstalled openssh through the Warehouse app just before the update attempt; reinstalled it afterwards, but no change of the symptoms
