Enjoying the calendar features of the Nokia N9 I am happy, that Sailfish 2.0 now shows same day calendar events on the notification screen (if this feature is activated). Some calendar events need preparation in advance so I would like to be reminded before the event at a day of my choice, that is not only at the same day.

This could be implemented in several ways:

a) The new same day notification could have the option to choose some number of days to be notified before the event.

b) Individual events in the calendar could get second time option additional to the alarms already implemented. This new time option shoud define the number days the event appears in advance on the notification screen.

I am using my Jolla phone as a day to day phone and this feature would increase the usefulness of the phone a lot.
