I'm using the Jolla phone in New Zealand which isn't a country it's officially sold in, so I'll forgive some weirdness, but I wonder if this is an issue I might be able to fix.
I'm on the Spark (until recently Telecom) network, and I can connect to 4G networks fine and make calls, use data etc. However when there's 3G coverage only (WCDMA), the phone can't connect to the network at all.
Under Settings -> Mobile Network, when on 4G (LTE) I'm connected to Spark NZ, but on 3G there are just no networks to select. Curiously when I first go to the Mobile Network screen it says something like "Network: Denied" at the bottom, but if I go to the select network screen there's nothing there at all,and coming back it'll just say something like "Searching..." again.
I've checked the APN settings and they seem correct.

I'm on the Spark (until recently Telecom) network, and I can connect to 4G networks fine and make calls, use data etc. However when there's but where our 3G coverage only (WCDMA), the phone can't connect to network is WCDMA 850Mhz (Band 5) it doesn't see the network at all.all. Looks like from the specs that the phone only supports WCDMA 900/2100 MHz (Bands 1/8).
Under Settings -> Mobile Network, when on 4G (LTE) I'm connected to Spark NZ, but on 3G Does anyone know if there are just no networks plans to select. Curiously when I first go to enable support for the Mobile Network screen it says something 850MHz band, or anything like "Network: Denied" at the bottom, but if I go to the select network screen there's nothing there at all,and coming back it'll just say something like "Searching..." again.
I've checked the APN settings and they seem correct.that?
