It would be very useful if the current date could be displayed below the time in the lock-screen. Also the current day would be nice.

It would be very useful if the current date adn weekday could be displayed below the time in the lock-screen. Also lock-screen.
EDIT: I'll go ahead and make this request about the current day would be nice.date being on the lock screen AND in the status area, so it becomes peekable from any app, but is also there on the lock screen, without the necessity of any further action to see it (e.g. unhide it from the pulley menu - it is, indeed the first item that you can spot, or easily overlook, when pulling it down).
This thread and the other thread I created about this have only comments that want this and no disagreements. Please comment if you disagree.

It's not necessary we all use perfect spelling and no disagreements. Please comment if you disagree.grammar, but it's important we make it unambigious.

This request is about the current date being shown on the lock screen and in the status area, so it becomes peekable from any app, but is also there on the lock screen, without the necessity of any further action to see it.
Update: Un-released UPDATE: We're almost back to square one in Sailfish 2.0 2.0.
Date-peeking was un-released in the new UX - date cannot be seen when peeking anymore.anymore.
It is still visible on the lockscreen, but after unlocking, it's gone again. One has to a) put the device to sleep and wake it up again or b) open the calendar app to see it. It should be there on the home screen next to the clock, and/or the new events view. I'll be making a new thread for that. Please check it out and vote if you agree!
