Just an idea for usability of Contacts app: when it opens, it shows the list of recent contacts which have made actions.. But, IMO, it is very very annoying, moving letter moisaic to the bottom of the screen suddenly.

This kind of GUI could be improved/modified treating it as the homescreen, by a "carousel": swiping to left or right continuosly the screen could pass from "Recent contacts" to "Contacts search" and so on..
