Indicate connected bluetooth device

The bluetooth indicator at the notification area (between lock screen and multitasking screen where the time is displayed - how is this area called correctly?!) only shows that bluetooth is enabled, but doesn't change it's look when a bluetooth device is connected to indicate that there is an active connection. Would be very nice if f.e. the white bluetooth icon would turn into blue as soon as a device is connected (just like on the beloved N9).

Indicate Improve indication of connected bluetooth device

The bluetooth indicator at the notification area (between lock screen and multitasking screen where the time is displayed - how is this area called correctly?!) only shows that bluetooth is enabled, but doesn't change changes it's look when appereance as soon as a bluetooth device is connected to indicate connected. It's a very unrecognizable change (of course: in my opinion) that there is an active connection. Would I even did not recognize for a long time that it changed. (The comment from @ziller told me that it changed)

It would be very nice if f.e. the white bluetooth icon would turn into blue as soon as a device is connected (just like on the beloved N9).
