How much control will the user have on 'Partner Space' / 'Super Apps'?

It was good to hear the announcement of another official Sailfish OS run phone.

The Intex Aquafish will run a Sailfish OS version which will supposedly include 'Partner space' / 'Super Apps'. This 'feature' will supposedly be accessible from the left-swipe view (from the home screen). Details are still unclear on this 'feature', but this view / space will either show 'useful advertisement' from Jolla 'partners' and / or will be used exclusively to show 'advertisement like notifications' from apps by Jolla 'partners'.

However, I have a few concerns:

  1. Will the user have an option to turn OFF the background service or 'super' apps?
  2. If not (to 1), will there be an option to PREVENT the background service or 'super' app from using the internet?
  3. Will there be an option to PREVENT the background service or 'super' app from accessing the users contacts, SMS, emails or phone logs?

  4. Will the user have an option to 'UPGRADE' to a Sailfish OS version without 'partner space / super apps' (after paying an extra fee to either Jolla / Intex)?

Feedback:
Ideally, the answer to all four questions should be YES. If not, after the tablet fiasco, Jolla risks losing the love of their existing users too and will be going on a downhill path of no recovery. Internet users today are more aware about the invasive and intrusive nature of online advertisements and increasingly turning to ad blockers. Even apple indirectly supports ad blockers on its ios platform. So it doesn't really inspire my confidence in Jolla when you go against the popular user trend. Especially when you also highlight protection of user privacy as not just a feature of Sailfish but also a value that Jolla holds dear to it. It shouldn't be a suprise to anyone that privacy, security and 'advertisements' do not go hand in hand ...

I do plan to buy the new Intex Aquafish. But I am sorry - I definitely will not buy another new Jolla phone or tablet unless I receive CLEAR clarifications on this.
