I recently got a Bose Soundlink Mini as a birthday gift. It was store bought by my friend so it wasn't used beforehand.
However... after a week and a few days, it stopped working.
Here are my findings: 1. It seems to be the speaker's problem; I've connected multiple blue tooth devices to it to test if it was my device having bluetooth problems: Tried my Iphone and my Ipad, didn't work on either.
Strangely enough, I came home and used it and it worked. But then the music randomly became really spotty and stopped working. The indicators as well as my device settings indicate that there is indeed a connection... The energy levels at the time are also green.
Several points to make: 1. It is always in the same location. I never move it. I suspect that the location has nothing to do with it's malfunctioning; although keep in mind I always put it next to my desk top (which I don't think is the cause seeing as it still doesn't work after I moved it away).
The music became really fizzy and crackly right before it stopped altogether.
I was home alone when this happened, so no one in my house brought in any extra electromagnetic interference.
On occasion, I might be able to hear really spotty music when I'm holding down the + or - button to change the volume... but only when I'm holding it down.
It's definitely not on mute, checked both sound levels on my device and the speaker.
Any clues or help?
