I make this wiki thread because it was not accepted in another thread as an answer. It's for all the people on the last early release version which would like to have a reliable phone functionality back, but don't want to make a factory reset:
If you like to downgrade you can do that, by opting out of the early adopters program. I had to wait for around three hours, than an "upgrade" to Saimaa was shown. I disabled all my patches, downloaded and installed Saimaa. All went pretty well.
