Noo! My phone got wet!

So, the other day, my phone got exposed to water while we were at the beach. Noo! Worse, once it happened, my very "helpful" friend (whose great ideas caused the water exposure in the first place) took my phone and wanted to check if it was still working, and kept trying to turn it on. Double-Noo! Of course, eventually, all signs of life were gone. (I'll forever consider him an idiot after this.) And Jolla is out of phones, I can't order a new one! Triple-Noo!

Of course, without a phone, I won't ever be able to get back to developing Jolla apps. And also, on that phone there was some data I'd probably have liked to still have available (probably nothing too critical, but would be nice to have).

What now? Could there be any pros out there who might be able to repair my phone or something?
