The question says it all. Move to some to some other fs like ext3/4, at least for the user dataset. Or jfs (known for low cpu requirements). It has been reliable for me on laptop and desktop since it made it into mainstream linuxes - no idea hiw I behaves on a phone, though
Is it possible at all ?
