[app-dev] Mucic library/gallery integration

Is there such a thing as a way to use the music library or photo gallery functionality in a 3rd-party app? It seems as QtDocGallery is not allowed and that was my best (only) guess on how to make it work.

I remember reading that stock apps only use the apis that 3rd-party developers can use, so the should be something, right?

UPDATE: Yes QtDocGallery is the way to go.. but it has yet to be properly transferred from QtMobility to mainline Qt. Understandably Jolla can't fix everything they need/want immideately so they for our help to contribute to the Qt project in making QtDocGallery finished/stable. I'll try to take a look, but I don't think i will be of much use. Also.. I remeoved a bad answer.
