With the proposed set of new strings to translate into French, I could find several instances of "Data costs may apply" (by the way the English seems inconsistent as I could find 'data cost' in singular and 'data costs' in plural) which is quite generic.
I could see different proposals:
Ceci peut entraîner des coûts de données.
Des données peuvent être facturées.
Des frais de données peuvent être appliqués. [seems to be the official Jolla translation, see Here section]
None of these satisfies me (but maybe a personal taste) and for instance the current official translation seems to be a word-to-word translation, and it sounds weird to me (seems to be used in Canada though). So I wanted to add other possibilities :P
Any views?
