To the left of this text is a vote indication which provides the sum of all votes. I don't feel that this representation is fair to either the detractors, nor the advocates as this simply doesn't show how strong the feeling for the topic is. If there is a large positive sway counters by a small negative component, the question/idea just doesn't seem as positive as the advocates would like and no one really knows how many detractors there are. On the other hand if there is an almost equal number of plus votes and minus votes then the topic appears to have garnered little interest.
