Swordfish OS (Turing Robotic Industries)

Hello,

I apologize in advance since it's not really a question, but a way to hear your opinion about a certain topic, which is TRI's latest email.

They're planning on releasing a mind-blowing product somewhere next year titled Turing Phone Cadenza. I'm not even sure they released their first phone out of pre-order stage.

The interesting thing here is that they announced usage of Swordfish OS, which is stated to be based on Sailfish OS. I wonder how will that work out for them and Jolla. Sounds like all of the patches and new features will have to be backported into Swordfish. Let's hope that Jolla won't have to waste human-resources on this. Jolla also appears to have a new licensing system, so instead of using super apps they'll either demand a certain cut from each device sold, or perhaps TRI have bought the Sailfish sources?

I know that this post really serves no purpose, I'm just interested in others' opinions.
