Many Chinese users are not skillful in typing Chinese characters with virtual keyboard, and hence handwriting input method is particularly important to engage mass Chinese markets.
The handwriting input method should support both Simplified and Traditional Chinese characters, and should include full UTF-8 character set (i.e. include Hong Kong specific characters). Ideally this should be open sourced too, although there isn't any practically usable open source solution for Chinese handwriting recognitions just yet.
