Hello sailors,
i just tell me why if my jp1 has 1gb ram, there are just around 800mb attributed (or to be displayed)?
For what are the other 214mb dedicated? the OS it self? the boot manager?
I didn't find any part of software which could inform me for what it is used.
Maybe i didn't have the right keywords to find it.
But i didn't find a thread with clear information, on how is the ram managed.
And i find really odd that nothing on the phone displays the usage of the whole ram allocation.
Normally if all would be done with transparency, then we may see the whole ram usage with the size of the os itself. right?
I'll be thankful if someone could explain some things about it.
Have a good sail.

Edit:
Seems to be that this hidden part is occupied for zram and GPU usages.
I ask me why the information about those two parts are not accessible in the simplest way (gui)?
Furthermore, seems that actually the jp1 with 1gb ram and android function get a ram space too tight.
Why is it not possible too place a further swap possibility on the sdcard?
This thread ask for something ok at this time.
But now thing had some evolutions, and apps usages need more memories.
I'll be thankful if someone could explain some things about it.
Have a good sail.
