It is heavily annoying: I edit a text (e.g. question, comment), [Save edit], find some more things I should change, so click [edit] again -- and the original text as it was before my last edit reappears. If the last edit was a larger one, you spot this quickly and may hopefully find your last text in the browser history. If it was a minor one, you may not even recognize that you just back-converted your last edit.
Request: Make sure, that the text appearing in the edit field is the very last one saved -- always, not only if the last edit was some time ago.
