LineageOS 15 libhybris

Are there any plans to build SailfishOS using the lastest cm -> now LineageOS versions? There currently only is a libhybris 13 version. But OEMs will soon start developing for Android 8 (Orio).

Is it possible to build SFOS using a LineageOS 15 Kernel and Drivers?

I know that there's an german OEM building an high end device (release Q4 2017) considering to offer SFOS alongside LineageOS. Any info on possible problems or amount of work to do this would be appreciated.

If one could use Android Nougat (or higher) kernel and drivers the hurdle for building SFOS would be much lower. Any info on possible problems or amount of work to do this would be appreciated.
