LineageOS stats could help you determine which phones to port Sailfish OS. Possible cooperation between the two projects?

LineageOS usage stats, most active phones, countries: https://stats.lineageos.org/

Keep in mind these people are more than likely not necessarily married to their OS. They just happen to own a hackable device (for a good reason), and are open to experimenting with something better than stock Android. Anything. As I understand, Sailfish OS already runs Android apps, so most LineageOS users at least wouldn't mind trying it.

I see a good reason there should be some kind of cooperation between the two projects. They have a fairly sizable installed base (what's the installed base of Sailfish OS?), and I think it would make a good sense for the Sailfish OS developers to target popular LineageOS devices with their porting efforts. Thank you!
