I can't say when this bug appeared, but in 2.1.0.11 it is still present. To reproduce the bug: it is necessary to have one contact with more than 1 phone number; call this contact on all the numbers it has, one after another, then close the Phone app, if open; then try to modify the contact, and delete especially the primary phone number, save the contact, close the People app, reopen the app and display the same contact: the number deleted appears again. With a new test contact, containing 2 phone numbers, any of the phone numbers can be deleted if none of his numbers is use to make a call.
