On Symbian phones Internet access points were ordered by priority, and connection was made to the one with highest priority among the available ones. It would be very useful to be able to set the priority of wifi networks in a similar way, to avoid situations like the one happening to me, where the phone systematically connects to a public hotspot even with a known private network available, and due to some bug in networking it won't connect to the private network when trying to force it, and will furthermore forget the network password.
