[Feature request] Compatibility of backup/restore for all devices
When I wanted to jump over from my Jolla 1 to Sailfishx / Xperia it wasn't possible to move all data via backup / restore functionality of SailfishOS. The backup file isn't recognized by Sailfishx when trying to restore it with the Xperia from SD card.
I contacted Jolle Care and I was told that this feature isn't supported in between different SailfishOS devices but just for the same typ e.g. Jolla 1 to Jolla 1 or Jolla C to Jolla C etc. Even in case the backup file is recognized incompatibility problems may occur so it's not recommended to go this way.
I think this compatibility it's a must have in the same mobile ecosystem! Like it is now it feels like coming from iOS or Android... :-(
