Hi all, I'm now a couple of months in with my Xperia, and overall I like it a lot. There are bugs that I know others experience as well, e.g. the QtWebkit bug reported by Leszek, but there are other bugs that I don't understand the origins from and I can't find similar problems on TJC. Does anybody else experience these problems? If so I'll not go through the trouble of reflashing everything just to find out the problems still exist. I'm still on 2.1.3.7 btw.
1) ringtone is not persistent (gets set back to default at random, even without rebooting) 2) apps become inactive for no apparent reason (I can open every app on my phone (2,5 pages of apps in my launcher) without any app needing to reload, but sometimes even with just 2 apps open it needs to reload). According to htop I have pretty much a gigabyte of memory available always, so I doubt the OOM killer is guilty. Rebooting doesn't help. 3) I created a swap partition on an sd card (in an attempt to resolve problem 2) but after swapon the entire phone crashed 2 times in an hour (1st time it rebooted easily, 2nd time I needed to press volume up just to get stuck on the sony logo, after which I longpressed the power button to turn it off and managed to reboot normally). 4) email client forgets that you opened or marked emails as 'read'.
Thanks in advance!
