There have been a lot of questions about support for Xperia X compact (see (here)[https://together.jolla.com/question/185922/sailfish-os-on-sony-xperia-x-compact/] or (here)[https://together.jolla.com/question/169116/any-success-flashing-to-sony-xperia-x-compact/]).
There also is the great (community build)[https://together.jolla.com/question/180109/announcement-community-sony-xperia-x-compact-release/] from @steph built on OBS infrastructure.
Now I read the comment by James Noori in blog stating no big chances for an official support. I commented and asked for the reason for that.
I didn't get an answer yet, but I think the question is better asked here:
Is there a reason, why you (James Noori in the name of Jolla) don’t see a big chance for the X compact? AFAIK the community build is already very good and it does seem to be only a small step. I can’t see a valid reason to stop here. Can you please explain?
