It would be nice if the xampp / jabber chat would be support OTR encryption.

Is it right that Sailfish uses "Telepathy" for encryption so that the Bug https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16891 is relating to this?

It would be nice if the xmpp XMPP / jabber Jabber chat would support OMEMO encryption. It supports encrypted conversations with multiple devices and multiple contacts at the same time and is in every way a successor to OTR, which never will and never should be implemented in anything anymore. (The only developer who implemented a half-working OTR encryption.for telepathy-gabble has given up on it and basically ran away with the money he received to implement it.)
