Lockscreen orientation stuck to active android app's orientation

As the header states. If I have an android app active when screen goes to sleep, the lockscreen is stuck to the orientation where the app was and won't change when turning the phone.

I wonder if this is an issue with tablets as well which by default have landscape orientation allowed in lockscreen. If not, it could provide a solution for phones, which have enabled landscape orientation for lockscreen via patch, as well.

I have patched Xperia X.
