For a minimalistic look and better contrast it would be great to have a possibility to have plain black background in applications and in home screen. This could be an option for ambiances where the transparent background is disabled and plain black background is used instead when moving from lock screen to home screen or in to the applications. If a future Jolla would have OLED display this would also save battery.
