1. I was in whatsapp (Android) typing a message
   1. Halfway typing on the virtual keyboard, a calender reminder popped up
   2. Whatsapp disappeared from screen. All I could see was the calendar reminder screen.
   3. However, virtual keyboard was still on-screen.

I could type on the virtual keyboard (presumably input was still going to whatsapp). I had to access the pulley menu of the calendar reminder pop up to dismiss it to get everything back to normal again.
