Jolla C + 2 SIMs + SFOS 3.0.0.8 + Bluetooth handsfree in car doesn't work as expected

Hello, 1st bugreport from me.

Configuration

Phone - Jolla C

SailfishOS - 3.0.0.8

SIM cards (from different operators):

  • SIM1- 3G
  • SIM2 - 4G

SIM1, which is my primary one, is selected for data and outgoing calls. Phone is paired with car's multimedia system providing also hands-free option.

Issues so far

  1. The calls initiated from car's multimedia system use SIM2.
  2. Calls initiated from phone, when phone is connected to the car's multimedia system, the phone app shows that headset is in use, but audio is not switched to Bluetooth (nothing can't be heard from car speakers and whatever I speak to not received).

Other information

If the SIM2 is not present/not usable (PIN is not typed in), then the SIM1 is used without a problem.

I can't comment whether this issue was present in previous versions of SFOS because I haven't used it that way.

I'm well aware that I could do more testing and help to narrow down the issue (e.g. swap SIM slots). Unfortunately I haven't had time for it.
