Hello,
a couple of Android apps require qr code scanning inside the app. On my Sailfish X (Xperia X F5121) it is not possible to detect a qr code as such in Android apps. The camera starts inside Android apps but has huge problems locking focus. The focus is just pumping through the whole range and no code is detected successfully.
current usage example: In 2019 all banks in the EU will end the iTAN (personal TAN list on paper) verification due to new EU security guidelines. Most (online) banks now switch to photoTAN requiring the respective bank's app (Android or iOS) which then runs the scanner. Some banks still offer mobile TAN (SMS) but tend to charge a price for each used mobile TAN. One can question how reasonable this whole procedure is, for sure. Fact is, it gets hard to do online banking if you own a Sailfish phone.
There are other examples such as scanning codes out of a browser (which is currently also Android due to the lack of a usable Sailfish browser).
I am bit lost on this, can anyone help if we can get the qr scanning running on AlienDalvik?

edit 1: I have the issues with the Comdirect photoTAN app and with scanning from inside the Brave browser.
