This was a while ago, but it popped into my mind. I'm not sure which one it was: Xperia X running 3.0.1.11 or Xperia XA2 Ultra running 3.0.1.14.

I had to change the password of my CalDAV/CardDAV account (linked to OwnCloud), and when I tried to do something with the account (sync my calendar manually, perhaps), I receiver a notification bubble top of the screen. Instead of the translation, it displayed the translation placeholder key string with lots of underscores. I saw it too briefly to read it, and I wasn't able to trigger it again.
