i have a problem with my GPS. In the settings you can choose between GPS only, Battery save mode and High Power mode. If i use GPS only Here maps and OSM Scout are not able to find a signal and are not able to show the location. Only in Battery save mode and High Power mode Here maps and OSM Scout show the location.

I assume that the apps doesn't have access to the GPS signals and are just able to locate through the GSM transmitter tower.

update:i resetted my Xperia, but the situation is the same. The Sailfish App "Hello GPS!" showes 0/22, Valid fix No and of course no positioning or GPS time. For me (i'm not an expert) it seems that the GPS receives satellite infos (there are 22 satelites available) but cannot get further data (?)

update3:after a 3 hours under the blue sky and without a valid gps-fix i had to restart the phone because i wasn't able to create an account in the email app. After this restart the gps-fix appeared quickly. I don't why this happened and what the reason was but it works now :-)

I don't why this happened and what the reason was but it works now :-)
