XA2 Ultra [h4233][3.0.2] battery runs flat over night

I installed the EA update to 3.0.2.8 on Wednesday, 03.20.19 and thought it might have improved the power usage issue like it said in the release notes. But unfortunately that is not true, at least not for me. With stock Android or Lineage i easily got 2-3 days out of it. Battery drainage has always been much higher than with stock Android or even Lineage OS but it still lasted me a full day. I only charged it after getting home from work. Now, after installing 3.0.2.8, this hasn't changed much over the day. But over night, the battery runs completely flat. This is now the second time it happened. Yesterday i even charged it to a 100% at 10pm and left it on my bedside table as usual. I woke up at around 2am and noticed it had completely died due to a flat battery. This is barely over 4h to run from 100% down to 0. This hasn't happened with 3.0.1 ever before. The device is brand new, bought in January 2019, so i have no reason to believe in a dead/broken battery. It still lasts the whole day with occasional usage when i charged it back up in the morning. And it takes a reasonable amount of charge/mAh. So obviously there's something very wrong here. I have two SIM cards installed and WIFI turned on all the time.

I have yet to see if turning off wifi changes anything.
