When trying to unlock the screen via device lock code, the number of remaining attempts is shown. E.g. 48/50
I think it would be a nice improvement if the configured maximum of tries were not shown.
Instead, show the "X of Y attempts remaining" only once the remaining attempts fall under a certain limit. It would be nice f that limit were configurable, but a fixed limit of, say, 10, would be fine as well
Rationale: Were I a thief trying to guess the lock screen, I would be all but encouraged to brute-force the lock screen i the number of remaining attempts is always shown, and high (like 50). It would enhance the effect of the lock screen if the number of remaining attempts were unknown until a certain low threshold of e.g. 10 or less.
