I am using signal and discovered some annoying bugs when running on aliendalvik a long time ago. (i am using it without google play services or microG)

1. SMS are getting imported despite settings for SMS/MMS being disabled
2. Sync for phonebook is not working 100%
   • initial sync is working partly when installing the app for the first time. I say partly because the names of some contacts are not displayed right (just the number)
   • i can't see any contact when writing a new message (tap on the pencil icon) but somehow when i create a group i can invite contacts when typing their names (but some contacts are still not there)
   • because of the previous issue i can only answer incoming messages but not write new ones
3. Video calling does not work. As soon as the recipient or me are answering the call the app just crashes

Does anyone have the same problems? And the even more important question is - did someone find a solution? Does it work better with microG?
