Before 3.0.3.9 (xperia x) i was able to paste (and enter) extra characters (like p) together with the phone number in the phone app using the pulley menu "Enter phone number". My use case is to use a dial string with dtmf codes and delays.
Now this is not possible in the Phone app anymore. However it is possible in the People app. The keyboard layouts for entering the phone number in the two apps are different. Why?
Is this some improvement in the Phone app? Looks like a bug to me.

Update 23.05.2019
It seems that in the phone app there is a new length limit on the dial string. Paste works also with p characters.
