Currently if you leave calendar open like a cover, after midnight it will not change the highlighted day to the (now)current day. So next day when one maximizes the calendar app an already passed day is highlighted, which is sometimes confusing(for me).

If the calendar application is closed and opened - the correct day is highlighted.
