CalDAV/CardDav account to punycoded url requires ignoring ssl errors

I have a nextcloud in a punycoded domain. Adding a CalDAV and CardDAV account seems to work at first (I get list of calendars), but then it just asks me to log in again and again and doesn't work.

If I select the option to ignore ssl errors, the account starts to work. Sailfish browser doesn't have any problems connecting to the site. No errors or warnings about ssl.

SSL certificate is made for the punycoded name (xn--...) of the domain.

It seems caldav support makes some sort of mistake with punycode and ssl.
